Quality Performance - Fabuwood is an all plywood cabinet box with solid 1/2" plywood cabinet backs. Other features to note: Dovetail construction, Flush inner frames, Full Extension soft close drawers and doors and Ez level drawer fronts with 3/8" adjustments. They also use Blum hardware and metal shelf clips. All in all, everything you'd want and expect for a standard cabinet. Take a look at their 2024 Brochure.
Damages can happen. It's just the name of the game. 98% of damages are usually at the time of delivery- whether it is a shipping damage or manufacturer defect. Fabuwood does require images for replacements. Some of the time they will require the damaged goods back. This is NOT common with any other manufacturer we carry, and can slow the process down. But, damages do get shipped as quickly as possible. As far as our personal experience with Fabuwood warranty claims, they are far and few between. #knockonwood

Ordering & Delivery - Fabuwood's normally lead time is 2 weeks. Their trucks deliver to Long Island locations every Tuesday and Thursday. When placing your order, your designer will to schedule the exact delivery date with you. Once selected, this date cannot be changed. Fabuwood's direct delivery is a tailgate delivery only, requiring 2+ people to be onsite to unload the truck. We do have a white glove delivery option that includes two FREE weeks of storage time should your project require it. Ask your designer for more information.
Another thing to note, Fabuwood is a Hasidic run company, so they are closed on all Jewish holidays, some of them being rather lengthy- which again effects the lead time. You can download their 2024 calendar here for upcoming closures.

Price - We touched on Fabuwood's pricing earlier. Their line prices up very well for the quality you are getting. We find Fabuwood to consistently be 25% - 35% less than our American-made cabinet line. And even 10% less than Mantra Cabinets (another entry level cabinet line by MasterBrand Cabinets). That can be a huge savings, especially on larger projects.
Fabuwood is a good value for the money spent. Especially for projects with a tighter budget and a shorter lead time.

Warranty - As of October 1, 2024 Fabuwood introduced a Limited Lifetime Warranty on Allure, Illume, Value Premium and Quest Series. Products purchased before this date are subject to Fabuwood's limited 5-year warranty. It is 5 years from the date of purchase to the original purchaser only. You can read more about that here. It's very rare, if at all we are presented with a Fabuwood warranty claim on a past project. It is important to note that wear and tear does not count as a warranty issue. But this is true for all cabinet manufacturers.
