Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with all contents, and in its original packaging.
Exceptions - All sales are final for the Fabuwood color blocks, sample doors, touch-up kits, and paint. These items are non-refundable.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@directcabinets.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Costs
Cost to return an item is at the expense of the buyer and will depend on the size, weight, and receiving warehouse location in relation to your location. We can often offer you a UPS label for a lower cost compared to a UPS location.
Restocking Fees
Task Lighting has a 25% restocking fee. This is separate and additional to any return shipping charges. Note - Task Lighting also has upfront shipping costs, which are not refundable.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Important Note : Damage claims are time sensitive. You have 48 hours from time of delivery to contact us about damage. You, as the receiver have the responsibility of inspecting your package when it is received. If Damage is found. please take pictures of the packaging, shipping label, and damage of the item. If you find damage after 48 hours, our ability to correct the situation with the manufacturer may be limited or non-existing.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products (such as special orders), cabinetry, cabinet color samples and any items that were shipped or transported out of the U.S.A. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, discontinued items, and items that have been installed.
We cannot accept returns on product past 30 days, regardless if you are purchasing another item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
