Care & Maintenance
VICOSTONE® Quartz Surfaces are high-quality, solid, non-porous products that are resistant to scratches, heat, and stains. VICOSTONE Quartz requires minimum maintenance. The following care and maintenance guideline will help you to keep the surface in immaculate condition for years to come.
It's Kosher Certified!
VICOSTONE Quartz Surfaces are suitable for use with kosher food and will remain suitable
provided that the countertop is used exclusively with kosher food for the lifetime of the
product.
It's GreenGuard Gold Certified!
GREENGUARD Gold Certified means a product has been tested and certified to emit low levels of chemicals, especially formaldehyde:
- What it means
Products with this certification are built to contribute to safer, healthier air. They meet stricter emissions standards than products with the standard GREENGUARD Certification. - How it's achieved
Products must be scientifically proven to have very low emissions for more than 360 VOCs and 10,000 chemicals. For example, formaldehyde must be detected at under 7.6 parts per billion (ppb) to earn the GREENGUARD Gold Certification. - Why it's important
Products designed for use by at-risk groups like children or the elderly should meet these stricter standards. Kids are more susceptible to indoor air quality problems because they breathe more per body weight. - Who issues it
The UL Solutions issues the certification as part of their mission to create safe and secure living and working environments.
